Is Vaping Really Less Harmful Than Burning Tobacco?
Vaporizing methods to create or produce a chemical transformation by heating up something hot and cooling it down. The vapors that result are generally considered less harmful than smoke because they contain no tar, carbon monoxide or other chemicals that could be harmful to your health. Many vapers believe that it is safer than smoking while there is no smoke involved.
An e-liquid vaporizer is really a single-use device that mimics using tobacco. It is composed of a coil, an atomizer, and a tank or reservoir for storing your liquid. Instead of Vape Pen smoke, the vaper inhales liquid instead. Because there is no smoke or tar produced, vapers tend to be described as “smokers” given that they still inhale vapor rather than smoke. Much like smoking, however, there are a few disadvantages associated with tapering.
First, much like smoking, prolonged use of e-liquid can damage the lining of your lungs. The lining of the lungs can shrink over time because of the buildup of mucus and proteins, which then trap bacteria within the lungs. E-juices could be acidic and this affects the mucus lining, causing scarring of the liner of the lungs. Smokers have reported shortness of breath together with chest pains after prolonged periods of vaping.
Another disadvantage to vaping may be the fact that the flavoring ingredients used in e-juice do not achieve your lungs. Once you smoke, these flavoring chemicals achieve your lungs, because they are absorbed through the mouth and your lips. They then exit your lungs via exhalation. By vaporizing your e-juice, you bypass this technique and the flavor chemicals become airborne. By inhaling these highly acidic and volatile chemicals, you expose your lungs to the toxins within these toxins during every puff of your electronic cigarette.
In terms of safety and health, there are two main questions that need to be answered: do e-cigs contain nicotine and do they contain tar? The solution to the first question is no. E-cigs do not contain nicotine and for that reason cannot make you dependent on cigarettes. Likewise, e-cigs contain tar and may develop a physical addiction in users. Tar is proven to mimic the addictive qualities within cigarettes.
According to experts in neuro-scientific health and wellness, e-juice is merely not comparable to smoking in any way. This is because when you vaporize your e-juice, you are not ingesting any of the thousands of toxic chemicals that are within traditional cigarettes. In addition, once you juice your own juice, you are not polluting your lungs with smoke that could cause cancer later on. You’re also not risking the toxins found in the air by inhaling vapor from your own e-pipe. So why would anyone consider this kind of vaping to be safer than traditional cigarettes?
There are lots of factors which have been established as causing cancer and evoking the damage in our bodies that are due to tobacco. Many e-juice companies have included tobacco-like ingredients in their juices and in some cases, these ingredients have been recognized to cause cancer. By avoiding or completely removing all tobacco products from your own daily routine, you can assist in preventing yourself from becoming one of the many cancer victims on the globe. Not to mention, you won’t be harming your lungs through the inhalation of vapor that may cause long-term lung damage. Because you aren’t exposing your lungs to smoke, you are likely not likely to develop any lung disease through vaping.
One factor that has helped many people stop smoking cigarettes is the fact that electronic cigarettes are much less harmful than they was previously. Smokers that continuously use the products will be able to slowly wean themselves off of them without exposing their body to any of the harmful chemical compounds that cigarettes contain. The only time you should be worried about vaporizing is when you are using it to replace something else that is combusting. Otherwise, vaporizing should not be a concern because it is much less harmful than burning tobacco cigarettes.
